Advertisement terms and conditions

  1. All contents of advertisements are subject to the publisher’s approval. The publisher reserves the right to cancel advertisements at any time.
  2. The positioning of advertisements is at the discretion of the publisher, except where a specifically requested position is acknowledged by the publisher on an agreed advertisement order.
  3. The publisher shall not be liable for any costs or damages if for any reason the advertisement is not published.
  4. The advertiser (and its agency where appropriate) will indemnify the publisher for any loss or expense arising out of publication of their advertisement, including those arising from libel, plagiarism or copyright infringement.
  5. It is the advertiser’s responsibility to deliver copy on schedule and in accordance with the stipulated file format requirements. If the advertisement is omitted from the magazine due to failure by the advertiser to deliver suitable copy before the copy deadline, the price remains payable in full.
  6. Cancellation of advertisement bookings must be made a minimum of 30 days prior to the advertisement closing date for that issue and receipt of the cancellation must be acknowledged by the publisher in hard copy or electronic form. Advertisement cancellations will not be accepted within 30 days of the closing date.
  7. Accounts must be paid on the terms indicated on the invoice. The publisher shall have the right to hold any advertiser (and/or its agency where appropriate) liable for money due to the publisher for any advertisement that was ordered by the advertiser or its agency and that was published.
  8. If a series booking is cancelled before the series has been completed, then the advertiser will be liable to pay for the advertisements that have run at the corresponding rate for a shorter series, where appropriate.
  9. Any dispute will be settled in the UK, subject to British law.

  • The publisher Applied Market Information Ltd
  • The advertiser The company, organisation or individual that is promoting its products/services
  • Agency A company or individual booking an advertisement on behalf the advertiser
  • Advertisement A display or classified advertisement or sponsorship package as outlined in the advertisement order
  • Closing date The advertisement copy deadline listed in the media pack
